3rd Annual Castle Rock Day of Prayer:  Saturday, September 2nd, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Join other believers for a community-wide time of prayer at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park.

Praise under the Pavilion:  This Sunday, September 3rd, we will have only one worship service, and we will meet downtown at the White Pavilion (4th & Perry St.)  Join us at 10:00 a.m. for breakfast burritos, coffee, and juice.  The service will begin at 10:45 a.m.  Please bring lawn chairs and invite family and friends!

Office Closure:  The church office will be closed on Monday, September 4th, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Normal office hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Please call 303-688-3745 or email info@creeksidebible.com if you have any questions.

Creekside 101: Come learn about Creekside’s history, doctrine, vision, and membership process.  The class meets for four weeks and begins on Sunday, September 10th, at 10:45 a.m. in Room #600 (north modular).  Sign up here

Community Groups will start the week of September 10th.  You can sign up here.

Creekside Cares:  Saturday, October 7th, beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Our church will be serving South Ridge Elementary by beautifying their school.  We will paint, build, mow, clean, and anything else they need to have done!  We love our city, and this is a tangible way for us to show it.  Childcare will be provided on site.  Stay tuned for more information.

Outreach Opportunities:  Open Door Ministries serves the homeless population in Denver.  They need donations of warm clothing, boots, gloves, and hats before the cold weather comes.  Please put your donations in the bin by Connections.  His Hands needs volunteers to spend time with kids at South Ridge Elementary during the lunch period or after school.  Activities could include reading, drawing, playing games, etc.  Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.  If you are interested in helping, sign up here.

A D U L T   M I N I S T R Y

Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship will not meet this Saturday, September 2nd, since that is the date of the Castle Rock Day of Prayer.

Men’s Breakfast:  Saturday, September 9th, 8:00—10:00 a.m.  Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.

Women’s Christmas Event:  We are looking for crafty artists, fun decorators, inspirational cooks, talented chefs, and cheerful ladies to help with this year’s Women’s Christmas Event.  Please join us Saturday, September 9th, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for our first planning meeting. We will meet in Room #600 (north modular). 

Seniors’ Luncheon: Saturday, September 9th, at noon.  If you are 60+, come to Creekside the 2nd Saturday of each month for a delicious lunch, fellowship, and a devotional.  All seniors in Castle Rock and surrounding communities are welcome.

Women’s Fall Bible Studies:  The Tuesday morning Bible study begins on September 12th at 9:30 a.m.  The ladies will do a Bible study charted from Nancy Grisham’s book, Thriving.  Childcare will be provided.  The Thursday evening Bible study begins on September 14th at 7:00 p.m.  That group will use Kelly Minter’s All Things New, a study on 2 Corinthians.  You can sign up here for either study. If you wish to purchase a book from the church, please sign up by September 5th.

MOPS & MOMSnext begin meeting at Creekside on Wednesday, September 13th, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.  You can register here

Baby Shower:  Friday, September 29th, at 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Join us as we gather at the Belk’s home to celebrate the arrival of Cameron and Mariah Moore’s twin girls! 

Men’s Retreat:  September 29–October 1, Quaker Ridge Conference Center near Woodland Park.  Recharge and refresh your walk with the Lord as we learn how to experience contentment in our lives.  You can sign up here.

Volunteers needed:  Women of Creekside!  We are looking for women of all ages to help prepare for and to serve at our mother/daughter in-town retreat November 3rd & 4th.  We would be so blessed for you to share your gifts and come show your love to our amazing teen girls and their moms! 

S T U D E N T   M I N I S T R Y

Wednesday Nights:  The youth will meet on September 6th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

CBCSM Mini Film Festival:  Sunday, September 17th, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Students and parents, you are invited to a night full of stars and glamour with Castle Rock’s finest young film makers.  Join us as we view their short masterpieces, ultimately crowning one work “Best Picture”.  Students must submit films to Larry by September 13th via a flash drive or Vimeo.

Wholehearted – A Mother/Daughter Retreat:  Moms and daughters ages 12-19, save these dates for a fun and meaningful retreat on November 3 & 4!  We will meet at Creekside on Friday evening and all day Saturday.  More details are coming soon!
