Small Groups: The small group curriculum for the week of October 23rd is attached below.
Baby & Child Dedications: Parents will have the opportunity to dedicate their children to the Lord on Sunday, October 30th, during both worship services. If you’d like to dedicate your child/children, please sign up here by October 24th. One of the pastors will get in touch with you.
MOPS and MOMSnext: MOPS and MOMSnext meet twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:30—11:30 a.m., and childcare is provided. The next meeting is at Creekside on Wednesday, October 26th. You can register here.
Family Shindig: Friday, October 28th, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Join us at the Genesis Project for a chili cook-off and pumpkin carving contest, big outdoor games, line dancing, hayrides, delicious food, and other family activities! There will be great prizes for our contest winners. Sign up here if you plan to participate in the chili cook-off (sides and drinks will be provided by the church.) Please carve your pumpkin at home and bring it that night to be entered in the contest.
Women’s Prayer Retreat: Saturday, October 29th, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Creekside women will gather at the Belk’s home for a day of prayer and fasting. Women 14 and older are welcome; no childcare will be provided. Please RSVP here. If you have any questions, contact Margaret at email@example.com.
Women’s Ministry Service Project: Thursday, November 3rd, 1:00 p.m. We will be preparing craft projects for adults with special needs at HighPointe Center (7323 S. Alton Way, Unit A, Centennial, CO 80112). Ken & Kim Ziel, Creekside attenders, founded HighPointe in 2011.
Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship: Saturday, November 5th, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Join us at the church as we bring our prayer requests and praises to the Lord.
Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, November 6th. Remember to ‘fall back’ and change your clocks when you go to bed Saturday night!
Election Candlelight Prayer Vigil: Sunday, November 6th, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. We will gather at the Genesis Project to seek God’s face in prayer for our country and the election. All ages are welcome; no childcare will be provided.
2nd Quarter Business Meeting: Sunday, November 13th, 12:00 p.m. Oral ministry reports and a financial update will be given.
Greater Big Weekend: This year’s retreat will be even bigger and better than last year! Students will have loads of fun staying in homes throughout the Castle Rock area and learning how to cultivate healthy relationships. The retreat will start on Friday evening, November 18th, and end on Sunday morning, November 20th. The cost is $25 for the first student in a family, and $12 for each additional student. Annual Thanksgiving Dinner: Sunday, November 20th, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. The Creekside family will celebrate Thanksgiving together at Kirk Hall on the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Turkey and ham will be provided. Each family is asked to bring a side dish and a dessert. Please RSVP here so we know how many are coming and what you will bring.
