Breakfast in Bethlehem has been cancelled for this Saturday, December 3rd, since very few families had signed up to participate.
 
Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship:  Saturday, December 3rd, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.   Please join us as we bring our prayer requests and praises to the Lord.
 
Sunday’s Worship Service:  On December 4th, Pastor Torrey will begin the “Upside Down” message series.  He will be preaching from Luke 2.
 
U P C O M I N G:
 
Operation Christmas Child:  This Wednesday, December 7th, the youth are going to the Samaritan’s Purse Processing Center in Denver to prepare shoeboxes for shipping.  Registrations are now full.  Those who signed up to go will meet at the church at 4:00 p.m.
 
Seniors’ Luncheon Cookie Plates: Our Seniors’ Ministry needs cookies and treats to create Christmas cookie plates for those who will attend our December Seniors’ Luncheon.  If you can help, please sign up here and bring your donations to the church by Thursday, December 8th.
 
Women’s Christmas Event:  Join us on Friday, December 9th, at 6:30 p.m. to kick off the Christmas season with fellowship, singing, and a meaningful devotional about what “My True Love Gave to Me”.  We will “Deck Kirk Hall” with Victorian décor and enjoy the entertainment of a Dickens-style choral group.  There will be a charge of $10 for Creekside ladies.  Bring your friends because guests join us free of charge!  No childcare will be provided.  Please sign up here by Sunday, December 4th.
 
Men’s Breakfast:  Saturday, December 10th, 8:00—10:00 a.m.  Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.
 
Seniors’ Luncheon: Saturday, December 10th, 12:00 p.m.  If you are 60+, come to Creekside the 2nd Saturday of each month for a delicious lunch, fellowship and a devotional.  All seniors in Castle Rock and surrounding communities are welcome.
 
Christmas Bags for Open Door:  Every December a team from Creekside provides 80 gift bags for the homeless served by Open Door Ministries in Denver.  Items needed:  gift cards for fast food places like McDonalds, Burger King, or Subway in the amount of $10-15, Christmas cookies, preferably homemade, and candy.  Please give gift cards to Bill Lueschen or Kathy Lindholm.  Cookies and candy can be marked “Open Door” and left in the kitchen.  Donations must be received by Sunday, December 11th
 
MOPS and MOMSnext: MOPS and MOMSnext meet twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:30—11:30 a.m., and childcare is provided.  The next meeting is at Creekside on Wednesday, December 14th.   You can register here
 
Christmas at the Crema:  Wednesday, December 14th, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.  Parents, students, and friends are invited to Student Ministries’ 2nd annual Christmas Show at Cookies and Crema.  We will sing songs, play games, and eat sweets.  No sign up needed, just show up!
 
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services:  On December 24th, we will have services at 1:00, 3:00, & 5:00 p.m.  Childcare will be provided for ages three and under at 3:00 & 5:00 p.m.  No childcare will be provided at the 1:00 p.m. service.  Please invite your friends and neighbors to celebrate the Savior’s birth with us on Christmas Eve!
 
Christmas Day:  There will be no worship services on December 25th.  We encourage you to worship the Savior as a family on Christmas Day!
 
Baptismal Services:  You can begin the new year by telling others you have trusted Christ as your Savior!  If you would like to be baptized on Sunday, January 1, 2017, please sign up here.  
 
New Our Daily Bread Devotionals:  The newest edition (December-February) is available on the Connections counter in the foyer.  Large-print editions are also available.
