Parents’ Night Out:  Friday, April 28th, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.  Parents, enjoy a date night on us!  We will provide a night of fun and games for kids from birth to 6th grade; dinner will be provided.  Donations are encouraged to support our student summer mission trip to Camp Barnabas.

Sunday’s Worship Services:  On Sunday, April 30th, Pastor Torrey will conclude the “At the Cross” series, and his Scripture passage will be I Corinthians 1:18-25.


Special Business Meeting:  Per the church constitution, the Elders have scheduled a special business meeting on Sunday, April 30th, immediately following the 2nd service.  Childcare will be provided, and absentee ballots will be available.  The purpose of the meeting is to vote on calling Clint Felts to be our Associate Pastor of Worship & Adult Discipleship.  Clint, his wife, Harmony, and their son, Landon, will be with us this weekend to engage the church family, and Clint will lead worship on Sunday morning.  Click here to see a video of Clint leading worship at Fellowship Fayetteville.


Welcome Dessert:  Sunday, April 30th, 6:30 p.m.  Meet other new Creekside attenders, hear from the pastors about CBC, and enjoy delicious desserts.  Please RSVP here by April 29th.  Childcare is provided.


U P C O M I N G:


Wednesday Nights:  The youth will meet on Wednesday, May 3rd, from 6:45 – 8:30 p.m.


National Day of Prayer:  Come to the Douglas County Administrative Building (3rd & Wilcox) from 12:00–1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4th to pray for our nation.


Encounter:  Because Pastor Torrey will be bringing Jeremiah home from college the first weekend of May, the Encounter will be postponed until summer.


Church Workday:  Saturday, May 6th, 8:00 a.m. until done.  Come help the deacons prepare the grounds for summer!  Remember to bring sunscreen, work gloves, shovels, rakes, hammers, etc.


Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship:  Saturday, May 6th, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.   Please join us as we bring our prayer requests and praises before the Lord.


Baptismal Services:  We will have baptismal services at both 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 7th.  If you would like to be baptized, please sign up here by May 4th.


MOPS and MOMSnext will have their last meeting before the summer break on Wednesday, May 10th, from 9:30—11:30 a.m.


Senior High Graduation Dinner:  Friday, May 12th, 5:00 – 10:30 p.m.  We will be celebrating our graduating seniors with a night on the town.  The event is free for all graduating seniors and $25 for all Senior High students.  Sign up here; we will meet at Creekside at 5:00 p.m. in our best duds.


Men’s Breakfast:  Saturday, May 13th, 8:00—10:00 a.m.  Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.

Seniors’ Luncheon: Saturday, May 13th, at noon.  This will be the last Seniors’ Luncheon before the summer break.  Anyone 60+ in Castle Rock and the surrounding communities is welcome to attend. 


Child Dedications:  Parents will have the opportunity to dedicate their children to the Lord on Sunday, May 14th, during both worship services.  If you would like to dedicate your child,

sign up here by May 4th, and one of the pastors will contact you to schedule a meeting. 


Graduate Recognition:  On Sunday, May 21st, we will be recognizing Creekside’s senior high, college and graduate school grads.  If someone in your family is graduating this year, please sign up your student here. 


Bake Sale for Camp Barnabas Mission Trip:  On Sunday, May 21st, we will have a bake sale to support the students who will serve at Camp Barnabas this summer.  Please sign up here if you would like to provide baked goods for the sale.


Creekside’s Bible-Based Sports Camp is June 5-9, from 8:45 a.m. – Noon, at South Ridge Elementary School.  Kids (1st–6th grade) can focus on their favorite sport:  football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, frisbee, or games.  The cost is $20 per child (register by May 22nd to receive $5 off).  Sign up here.


New Family Check-in Team is looking for a couple of people to serve once a month greeting new families who come to Creekside.  Our role is to help new families navigate getting their children checked in and connected to their class in the Creek Kids’ Ministry.  If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Karyn Hoffman (bkhoffmanrba@gmail.com) for more details.


Nursery Workers Needed:  Additional help is needed in the nursery on Sunday mornings.  If you could help once a month during either the 9:00 or 10:45 a.m. service, please contact Susan Combs (sjmcombs@yahoo.com, 303-660-3401).


Our Daily Bread Devotionals:   The newest edition (March–May) is on the Connections counter in the foyer.  Large-print devotionals (April–June) are also available.


Office Closure Policy:  The church office is open from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Monday–Thursday.  If the Douglas County Schools are closed because of inclement weather, the office will be closed as well.  If the schools have a delayed start, the church office will open at 10:00 a.m.
