Senior High Graduation Dinner: Friday, May 12th, 5:00 – 10:30 p.m. We will be celebrating our graduating seniors with a night on the town. The event is free for all graduating seniors and $25 for all Senior High students. Sign up here; we will meet at Creekside at 5:00 p.m. in our best duds.
Men’s Breakfast is on the same date (Saturday, May 13th) but at a different location (Ridgeline Church) and time (7:30 – 9:30 a.m.) so we can join other brothers to hear Mark Johnson, KOA Sports Director and “Voice of the CU Buffalos.” Mark has a passion for sports, rodeo, and, in his words, “talking to men about being accountable, about being men of integrity.” Call Guy West (720-883-2337) if you need a ride. Breakfast will be served; event is free.
Seniors’ Luncheon: Saturday, May 13th, at noon. This will be the last Seniors’ Luncheon before the summer break. Anyone 60+ in Castle Rock and the surrounding communities is welcome to attend.
Sunday’s Worship Services: On Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 14th) Pastor Torrey will be focusing on the life of Esther.
Alternatives Pregnancy Center: Alternatives comes alongside women and men who are in a crisis pregnancy. APC has offices throughout the Denver Metro area, and they recently opened an office in Castle Rock. You can support the ministry of Alternatives by taking a baby bottle and filling it with change between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

Wednesday Nights: The youth will not meet on Wednesday nights for the rest of the month. They will resume meeting on June 7th, at 6:30 p.m.
Graduate Recognition: On Sunday, May 21st, we will be recognizing Creekside’s senior high, college, and graduate school grads. If someone in your family is graduating this year, please sign them up here by May 18th.
Bake Sale for Camp Barnabas Mission Trip: On Sunday, May 21st, we will have a bake sale to support the students who will serve at Camp Barnabas this summer. Sign up here if you can provide baked goods for the sale. Please have your goodies at the church by 9:45 a.m. next Sunday!
Desserts Needed: A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver. Dessert donations for Sunday, May 21st, would be much appreciated. Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”. Praise Under the Pavilion: Since Festival Park is under construction, our Memorial Day outdoor worship service will be in downtown Castle Rock at the White Pavilion (414 Perry Street). Join us on Sunday, May 28th, at 10:00 a.m. for coffee and breakfast burritos. The worship service will start at 10:45 a.m. Please bring lawn chairs and invite friends and family to this special service!
Office Closure: The church office will be closed on Monday, May 29th, in observance of Memorial Day.
Youth Summer Kick-Off Climb: We will meet at Creekside at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31st, to go climb Devil’s Head, and we will return about noon. Bring water and a sack lunch and wear sunscreen. If you are coming, sign up here by May 30th.
Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship: Saturday, June 3rd, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Please join us as we bring our prayer requests and praises before the Lord.
Creekside’s Bible-Based Sports Camp is June 5-9 from 8:45 a.m. – noon at South Ridge Elementary School. Register your children here or you can sign them up in the foyer on Sunday.
Kids (1st – 6th grade) can register to participate in one of the following: basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, Frisbee, or games. The cost is $20 per child (sign up by May 22nd to save $5.)
Volunteer Opportunity: Many hands are needed to make Sports Camp a successful outreach. Adult and youth assistant coaches are needed for basketball, football, Frisbee, games, soccer and volleyball. We also need help in registration, child care, singing, and snack preparation. Stop by the Sports Camp table in the foyer this Sunday, and volunteer to help us share God’s love with children this summer.
4th Quarter Business Meeting: We encourage you to attend the business meeting on Sunday, June 11th, at noon. The membership will vote to approve the 2017-18 Spending Plan, and written ministry reports will be handed out. Childcare will be available, and snacks and water bottles will be provided.
New Family Check-in Team is looking for a couple of people to serve once a month greeting new families who come to Creekside. Our role is to help new families get their children checked in and connected to their class in the Creek Kids’ Ministry. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Karyn Hoffman (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more details.
Nursery Helpers Needed: Two helpers are needed once a month during the 1st worship service (8:45 – 10:15 a.m.) For more information or to volunteer, please contact Susan Combs (email@example.com, 303-660-3401).
Our Daily Bread Devotionals: The newest edition (March–May) is on the Connections counter in the foyer. Large-print devotionals (April–June) are also available.
