Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship: Saturday, June 3rd, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Please join us as we bring our prayer requests and praises before the Lord.
Sunday’s Services: Pastor Torrey and Lori are on the road taking Jeremiah to Florida for his summer internship with NASA. On Sunday, June 4th, Larry Schembri will begin the new “Shalom” series, and he will be preaching on 2nd & 3rd chapters of Genesis. We will also celebrate communion.
Benevolence Fund: When someone in the church family or community has a special need, the deacons can provide assistance because of your gifts to our Benevolence Fund. This Sunday the deacons will be in the foyer after the worship service to accept contributions; please prayerfully consider what you can give to support those who have a financial need.
2017-18 Spending Plan: Copies of the proposed spending plan and absentee ballots are on the table by Connections. If you are a member and will not be attending the business meeting on June 11th, please complete a ballot and give it one of the Elders.
Gift Card Shower for the Felts family: Clint & Harmony Felts move to Castle Rock later this month, and we would like to help them fill their pantry. To participate, purchase a gift card to King Sooper’s, Safeway, Walmart, or Target and put it in the offering box by Sunday, June 18th.
U P C O M I N G:
Creekside’s Bible-Based Sports Camp is June 5-9 from 8:45 a.m. – noon at South Ridge Elementary School. Kids (1st – 6th grade) can register to participate in basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, Frisbee, or games. The cost is $20 per child, and you can register your children here.
Wednesday Nights: The youth resume meeting on Wednesday nights on June 7th, at 6:30 p.m.
Men’s Breakfast: Saturday, June 10th, 8:00—10:00 a.m. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.
4th Quarter Business Meeting: We encourage you to attend the business meeting on Sunday, June 11th, at noon. The membership will vote to approve the 2017-18 Spending Plan, and written ministry reports will be handed out. Childcare will be available, and snacks and water bottles will be provided.
Alternatives Pregnancy Center: Alternatives comes alongside women and men who are in a crisis pregnancy. APC has offices throughout the Denver Metro area, and they recently opened an office in Castle Rock. You can support the ministry of Alternatives by taking a baby bottle and filling it with change. Please bring your baby bottle back to Creekside by Father’s Day, June 18th.
Desserts Needed: A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver. Dessert donations for Sunday, June 18th, would be much appreciated. Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”. If you would like to help serve the meal, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Independence Day Picnic: Join us as we celebrate our country’s independence with a picnic on Sunday, July 2nd, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and brats, as well as buns, condiments, drinks, and tableware. We are asking the church family to bring fruit, veggies, chips, brownies, or cookies. If you plan to attend, please sign up here to let us know what you will bring and how many will attend.
Colorado Rockies Faith Day: This year’s game is on Sunday, August 6th, at 1:10 p.m., and the Rockies will play the Philadelphia Phillies. After the game, players will share their testimonies, and the Newsboys will give a free concert. To order tickets, visit www.rockies.com/faithday.
New Family Check-in Team is looking for a couple of people to serve once a month greeting new families who come to Creekside. Our role is to help new families get their children checked in and connected to their class in the Creek Kids’ Ministry. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Karyn Hoffman (email@example.com) for more details.

Lost & Found: If you have been missing something, please check the Lost & Found bin in the foyer (under the coatrack). All unclaimed articles will be donated to the Task Force on Monday, June 26th.
