Worship & Tech Informational Meeting: Anyone currently serving on the worship or tech team (or interested in serving in the future) is strongly encouraged to attend an informational meeting this evening from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. We will discuss plans for the summer and talk in depth about the fall. Clint is looking forward to getting to know you all better over the summer!
Independence Day Picnic: We will celebrate our country’s independence with a picnic and games this Sunday, July 2nd, at 12:00 p.m. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, buns, condiments, chips, drinks, and tableware. We are asking the church family to bring fruit, veggies, brownies, or cookies. If you plan to attend, please sign up here by Friday, June 30th.
Prayer Walk: On Saturday, July 1st, Janis Dirks will lead a prayer walk in downtown Castle Rock. The group will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Douglas County Building (301 Wilcox), and the prayer walk will end at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome, including families. Sunday’s Services: Larry Schembri will preach on Sunday, July 2nd, while Pastor Torrey and Lori are visiting Jeremiah in Florida. Larry will preach on “Shalom Above the Shoulders”. The Scripture passage is Philippians 4:4-9.
Sunday Bible Classes: There will be no Kids’ Bible classes this Sunday because of the holiday. The Youth Study will meet at 9:00 a.m., and the Adult Bible Class will meet at 10:45 a.m. as usual.

Office Closure: The church office will be closed next Monday and Tuesday, July 3 & 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The office will be open from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Wednesday–Friday, July 5–7.
Wednesday Nights: The youth will not meet on Wednesday, July 5th, because of the holiday. The youth will meet on Wednesday, July 12th, at 6:30 p.m.
Men’s Breakfast: Saturday, July 8th, 8:00—10:00 a.m. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.
Men’s Clay Pigeon Shoot: Saturday, July 8th, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Invite your neighbors and friends to join us for some skeet shooting at the Genesis Project after Men’s Breakfast. Bring your shotgun (unloaded) and shells, safety equipment, water, lawn chairs, sunscreen, and a snack to share. Creekside will provide water and some snacks. Sign up here if you plan to attend.
Barnabas Celebration and Gathering: We will celebrate our Barnabas Mission Trip during both services on Sunday, July 9th. Wear your Barnabas t-shirt that day if you participated in the trip. We will also meet at church that evening at 6:00 p.m. for dessert and additional sharing. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Top Golf: Students, we are hitting the links up at Centennial Top Golf on Sunday, July 16th. We will meet at the church at 5:00 p.m. and return to Creekside about 8:45 p.m. It doesn’t matter if you are a pro on the golf course or a master on the Wii, this combination of golf and bowling is an absolute blast. The cost is $20 per person. Sign up here today!
Desserts Needed: A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver. Dessert donations for Sunday, July 16th, would be much appreciated. Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”. Colorado Rockies Faith Day: This year’s game is on Sunday, August 6th, at 1:10 p.m., and the Rockies will play the Philadelphia Phillies. After the game, players will share their testimonies, and the Newsboys will give a free concert. To order tickets, visit www.rockies.com/faithday.
Sound & Video Techs Needed: A sound tech and a video tech are needed to work in the sound booth one Sunday a month. If you would be interested in either position, please contact Mike Bartlett (email@example.com, 303-663-5021).
New Family Check-in Team: We are looking for a couple of people to serve once a month greeting new families who come to Creekside. Our role is to help new families get their children checked in and connected to their class in the Creek Kids’ Ministry. If you are interested in serving in this inistry, please contact Karyn Hoffman (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more details.
Nursery Helpers Needed: Two helpers are needed once a month during the 1st worship service (8:45 – 10:15 a.m.) For more information or to volunteer, please contact Susan Combs (email@example.com, 303-660-3401).
