Good Day, Creekside Family!
Here are this weekend’s reminders and a few things coming up in the near future.
                                                THIS WEEK

Campout Saturday Potluck:  You are invited to join the campers at Mueller State Park for their noon potluck this Saturday, July 9th!  Please bring meat to grill as well as a side dish or dessert, water bottles, and camp chairs.  Plan to come early to get in a hike before lunch and stay for the fellowship that afternoon.  Please sign up here if you are planning to come.
Men’s Breakfast:  Since a number of men are participating in the campout or mission trip, there will be no Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, July 9th.
Sunday’s Worship Services:  Pastor Torrey continues the “In Him” series this Sunday.  The Scripture passage will be II Corinthians 5:14-21.
Youth Sunday Bible Class:  Due to the Mexico Mission Trip and vacation schedules, there will be no youth Bible Class on Sunday mornings during the month of July.  Teens are encouraged to worship with their families at the 9:00 a.m. service.

Men’s Softball Game:  The next softball game is on Monday, July 11th, at 9:15 p.m. at Metzler Park field #4.

Wednesday Nights:  On July 13th, the youth will have a bonfire at the Schroeder’s (11 W. Wolfensberger Road) from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.  There will be games, s’mores, worship, fellowship and fun!  Come and bring a friend!

Women’s Ministry Service Project:  Come to Jane Konrad’s home for “Tea & Tie” on Thursday, July 14th, from 1:00—4:00 p.m.  We’ll be making fleece blankets for Children’s Hospital so bring good sewing scissors if you have them.  No need to sign up; call Jane at 303-972-3805 if you have questions.  The Konrad’s address is 570 Rusty Dawn Circle, Castle Rock, 80104.
Open Door Ministries:  A small team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month with Open Door Fellowship in Denver.  Dessert donations are much appreciated and may be put in the church kitchen on the third Sunday of each month, labeled appropriately.  If you would like to help serve the meal or spend time with those dining, please contact us at missions@creeksidebible.com to get more information.
Leadership and Volunteer Prayer Training:  In preparation for the fall series on prayer, we are asking all Creekside ministry leaders and volunteers to be part of one of the prayer training sessions.  One session is on Saturday, July 23rd, and the other will be Saturday, August 27th.  Both sessions will start at 8:00 a.m. and finish by 12:30 p.m.  Breakfast, lunch, and childcare will be provided.  We will discuss what prayer is, what it means to pray, and when and how we pray.  Please sign up
here to let us know which session you will attend.
Rockies’ Faith Day:  Watch the Rockies play Miami at 2:10 p.m. on Sunday, August 7th, and enjoy Crowder in concert after the game!  Rockies players will also share their testimonies before the concert.  Tickets are only $18.  Our seats are in section U336 so you’ll be in the shade and not have to change seats for the concert!  Please sign up
here to reserve your tickets and pay online or drop a check in the offering box by Sunday, July 17th.

Air Force Academy Football Game:  Bring the family and enjoy tailgating and AFA football on Saturday, October 22nd (time TBD).  Please sign up here to help us know how many tickets to purchase.  Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided; each family is asked to bring a side dish for tailgating.  Contact Beau Jordan (beau.jordan@gmail.com) with questions.
NIV Pew Bibles:  Since we are now providing Holman Christian Standard BIbles  (HCSB) in the sanctuary for the worship services, the church has a number of hardback 1984 NIV Bibles to give away.  If you would like to have one, please help yourself.  The Bibles are on the lower shelf of the table in the foyer.
