Community Group Leader Training: Saturday, August 5th, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. This will be a training session for our current small group leaders. Anyone interested in leading a community group in the future is also encouraged to attend. We will meet in the foyer, and breakfast will be served. Families are encouraged to come, and childcare will be provided.
Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship: Saturday, August 5th, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Please join us at the church as we bring our prayer requests and praises before the Lord. We will meet in the Conference Room in the south modular.
Sunday Worship Services: The “Come Together” series begins this Sunday. The Scripture passage for Pastor Torrey’s message is John 17:11-23.

Wednesday Nights: The youth will not meet on August 9th. Wednesday nights will resume on August 16th at 6:30 p.m.
Men’s Breakfast: Saturday, August 12th, 8:00—10:00 a.m. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.
Bridal Shower: Please join us as we celebrate Lorena Waugh’s upcoming marriage to Mike Medina. The shower will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12th, at the church. Creekside Blood Drive: The Bonfils Bloodmobile will be at the church on Sunday, August 13th, from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. If you would like to give blood, sign up here (enter site code A847), or call Bonfils Appointment Center at 303-363-2300. Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs a transfusion of donated blood. Donating blood saves lives, so sign up soon!
Tea & Tie: Ladies, please join us on Wednesday, August 16th, from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. for an afternoon of fellowship and service at our annual “Tea and Tie”. We will make blankets to benefit Children’s Hospital. Previous experience tying blankets is not required. Feel free to bring tasty treats to share, such as cucumber sandwiches, petite fours, scones, jam and biscuits. Jane Konrad will host this event at her home (570 Rusty Dawn Circle, Castle Rock, 80104).
Pizza & Play: On Sunday, August 20th, families with kids in the Nursery through 6th grade are invited for a time of Pizza and Play following the 2nd worship service. We will meet at the picnic tables and playground area for a time of fellowship. Bring a lawn chair and sunscreen!
Desserts Needed: A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver. Dessert donations for Sunday, August 20th, would be much appreciated. Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”. MOPS Meet & Greet/Registration: Wednesday, August 30th, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Come to Creekside to meet other MOPS moms and register for 2017-18 year. MOPS meets two Wednesdays a month from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., and the first meeting is on September 13th. Email Megan Schembri for more information (firstname.lastname@example.org). Praise under the Pavilion: On Sunday, September 3rd, we will have only one worship service, and we will meet downtown at the White Pavilion (4th & Perry St.) Join us at 10:00 a.m. for breakfast burritos, coffee, and juice. The service will begin at 10:45 a.m. Please bring lawn chairs and invite family and friends!
