T H I S   W E E K:

Castle Rock Day of Prayer:  Saturday, September 3rd, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.  Gather with other believers at Festival Park to pray for our churches, community, and nation.  Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship will not meet on Saturday, September 3rd, so that the women can participate in the Castle Rock Day of Prayer. 


Praise in the Park:  Come to Festival Park (2nd & Perry St.) for an outdoor worship service and BBQ on Sunday, September 4th.  We encourage you to invite friends, family and neighbors to join you at the park for the service, food, and fellowship!


Sunday’s Worship Service:  Pastor Torrey will preach on Psalm 47 at our Praise in the Park service this Sunday, September 4th


U P C O M I N G:

Church Office Schedule:  The office will be closed on Monday, September 5th, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.


Wednesday Nights:  The youth will meet on September 7th at 6:45 p.m. 


Men’s Retreat:  The Men’s Ministry will have their annual retreat September 9-11 at the Quaker Ridge Camp and Conference Center in Woodland Park, CO.  Join us for great food, fellowship, fun, and motivation! There will be plenty of activities and time to rest and unwind.  The cost of the retreat is only $99 for five meals and two nights lodging.  You can sign up here.  The deadline to sign up for the retreat is September 8th.


Men’s Breakfast:  There will be no breakfast on Saturday, September 10th, since the Men’s Retreat is that weekend.


Small Groups:  Join us this fall as our Small Groups unpack what it means to pray.  Pastor Torrey will lead us through the Model Prayer from Luke 11 on Sunday mornings while our Small Groups look at prayer from the rest of Scripture and put it all into practice!  If you are not part of a Small Group, please sign up here, and we will help you get connected!


Women’s Fall Bible Studies begin on Tuesday morning, September 13th, and Thursday evening, September 15th.  The Tuesday study begins at 9:30 a.m. and will be an eight-week study of the book of Jonah.  Childcare will be provided.  The Thursday study begins at 7:00 p.m.; the book of the Bible studied is TBD.  Both groups will be using Kay Arthur’s book, Discover the Bible for Yourself.  Please sign up here if you plan to attend either group.


MOPS and MomsNext: Front Range Christian Church and Creekside are partnering to provide MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MomsNext (mothers of school-age children).  MOPS and MomsNext meet twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:30—11:30 a.m., and childcare is provided.  The first meeting is at Creekside on Wednesday, September 14th.   Register at https://thefrontrange.ccbchurch.com/form_response.php?id=37


Baby Shower:  Please join us to celebrate new life!  There will be a Diaper Shower for Liz Reese at the home of Jessica Mandrioli (1792 Hogan Court, Castle Rock, 80109) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17th.  This baby will be the second boy in the Reese household.  Diapers are much appreciated as a gift.  Please RSVP with a call or text to Jessica at 720-308-2965.


80s Skate Night:  Saturday, September 17th, 7:00 – 10:45 p.m.  Students, bring your big hair, neon clothing and other terrible fashion accessories for our first-ever 80s skate.  The cost is $10, and we will meet at the church at 7:00 p.m.  You can sign up here


Desserts Needed:  A small team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month with Open Door Fellowship in Denver.  Dessert donations are much appreciated and may be put in the church kitchen on the third Sunday of each month, labeled appropriately.  If you would like to help serve the meal or spend time with those dining, please contact us at missions@creeksidebible.com to get more information.


Encounter: Friday, September 30th, 7:00 p.m.  This fall we are focusing on prayer and what it means to seek God’s face and not just His hand.  Please join us on September 30th when we come together as a church family and Encounter God.  This will be a unique and special time of prayer as we come as many and pray as one.
