Sunday Services:  The “Intentional” series begins this Sunday, January 14th.  You can read Matthew 9:35-39 to prepare for Pastor Torrey’s message.

Community Groups:  Sign up here if you would like to join a Community Group.  The groups resume meeting the week of January 21st.  You can also sign up at the Community Group table in the foyer this Sunday!

Welcome Dessert:  Sunday, January 28th, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Fellowship with others new to Creekside, meet our pastors, learn more about the church, and enjoy delicious desserts.  Childcare will be provided.  Please sign up here.

Creekside 101 is a four-week class covering the following topics: Who We Are, What We Believe, Where We Are Going, and Membership.  The next session begins on Sunday, February 4th, at 10:45 a.m. in the Hospitality Room, and all are welcome.  You can sign up here.

Encounter:  Save the date!  The next Encounter will be on Sunday evening, February 11th.  More details coming soon!

Hymnals:  Creekside is no longer using hymnals in our worship services.  If you would like to have one or more hymnals, they will be available in the workroom through the month of January.

Nursery Helpers Needed:  Additional helpers are needed on a once-a-month rotation.  If you can help, contact Susan Combs (, 303-660-3401.)

New Our Daily Bread Devotionals:  The December–February edition is on the Connections counter. The large-print edition (January – March) is also available.

Church Office:  Office hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  If you have any questions or would like to speak to a staff member, please call 303-688-3745. Inclement weather policy:  If the Douglas County Schools are closed because of inclement weather, the office will be closed as well.  If the schools have a delayed start, the church office will open at 10:00 a.m.

A D U L T   M I N I S T R Y

Men’s Breakfast:  Saturday, January 13th, 8:00—10:00 a.m.  Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.

Seniors’ Luncheon: Saturday, January 13th, at noon.  If you are 60+, come to Creekside on the 2nd Saturday of each month for a delicious lunch, fellowship and a devotional.  All seniors in Castle Rock and surrounding communities are welcome.

9:00 a.m. Adult Bible Class:  It is not too late to join us for “How We Got the Bible”, a new study that is meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays in the south modular.  This video-based study will strengthen your trust in the reliability of God’s Word! 

Women’s Spring Bible Studies:  On Tuesday, January 16th, the ladies will begin the Beth Moore study, “Children of the Day”, a verse-by-verse study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians.  The study will meet from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., and childcare will be provided.  Books are $16, and you can sign up for the study and purchase a book here.  The Thursday night Bible study group will continue their study of Kelly Minter’s “All Things New”, a study of 2 Corinthians.  This study resumes on January 18th from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., and no childcare is provided. 

MOPS & MOMSnext meet at Creekside twice a month on Wednesday mornings, and childcare is provided.  The next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 24th, from 9:30—11:30 a.m., and you can register here.

S T U D E N T   M I N I S T R Y

Rink at the Rock:  Monday, January 15th, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Meet us at the Rink on Perry Street for some ice skating, and be sure to dress warmly!  Bring $8 for rentals and ice time.  No need to sign up, and parents are welcome to join us!

Wednesday Nights:  The youth will meet on January 17th from 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Mexico Mission Trip Info Meeting:  Sunday, January 21st, 12:15 – 1:00 p.m.  Parents and students, join us in the Box (north modular, room #600) for information about the Mexico Mission trip that is planned for June of 2018.

Captive Spring Retreat:  We are going to YMCA of the Rockies at Estes Park for our Annual Students’ Spring Retreat from March 16-19.  We will be looking at Paul’s words in II Corinthians 10 as he challenges us to take every thought captive.  The cost is $75 per student.  This will be a time of spiritual reflection, growth, fun, and relationship building.  Sign up form will be available next week.

M I S S I O N S   A N D   O U T R E A C H

Desserts Needed:  A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver.  Dessert donations for Sunday, January 21st, would be much appreciated.  Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”.
