Good Day Creekside Family:
Here are this weekend’s reminders and a few things coming up in the near future.
Office Schedule: Kathy will be on vacation this Friday, October 16th. Melissa will be in the office from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. for any questions or needs.
L.I.F.T.: Upcoming L.I.F.T. (Impromptu get-togethers that cultivate strong friendships with other ladies!) Join us at Creekside on Saturday, October 17th, @ 6:00 p.m. Dress warmly, bring a camp chair and your favorite s’mores ingredients & tools, and enjoy some chat time around the campfire.
Worship Service Time Change: 2nd Worship Service now begins at 10:45 a.m.
Sunday Worship: Join us this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. as we continue our Road Map Sermon Series. We will be exploring Galatians 5:16-25 this Sunday.
Creekside 101: This is a five-week class which is offered three times a year. The topics covered are: Who We Are, What We Believe, Where We Are Going, and Membership. Join us this Sunday in Room 600 for week 2. All are welcome!
Outreach: A group from Creekside serves dinner to the homeless the 3rd Sunday of each month at Open Door Ministries in downtown Denver. If you’d like to help on Sunday, October 18th, you can meet here at 3:00 p.m. to carpool or meet the team at 4:00 p.m. at 1567 Marion Street in Denver.
Students’ Barn Party: On Wednesday, October 28th, there is a Barn Party at Lowell Ranch from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m., & admission is free!
Creekside Online Community: Community Church Builder (CCB) is Creekside’s Online Community software that we are using to connect the church through the use of technology. Information Guides are available at the bulletin table in the church foyer or email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a PDF version.
Online Giving: Creekside now has online giving available through the website and Creekside Online Community (CCB). You may either go to the website (www.creeksidebible.com) and click on the ‘Give’ tab to fill out a one-time contribution, or log into your CCB account to complete one-time and/or repeating contributions. Creekside will also be adding payment options to online form sign-ups.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers): The next MOPS meeting is this Wednesday, October 21st, from 9:30–11:30 a.m. Moms, you can register at www.mops.org (search for 80104).
Special Business Meeting: The membership will vote on proposed revisions to the church constitution. Many of the changes provide legal protections for our church after the June Supreme Court decision. A copy of the constitutional changes and supporting documents is available in the foyer on the bulletin table. If you are not able to attend the meeting and would like an absentee ballot, please contact the church office at 303-688-3745 or email@example.com.
Women’s Fall Prayer Retreat: Ladies, please join with your sisters in Christ for a Prayer Retreat on Saturday, November 7th, at Castle Pines Golf Club from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You can sign up @ www.creeksidebible.com to RSVP. Begin preparing your hearts for a day that will be spent with your Lord and Savior in the company of women who are united in bringing our petitions before Him. Baptism Sunday: We will be celebrating Baptisms on Sunday, November 8th, during the 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services. If you or someone in your family would like to be baptized, fill out our Baptism request form at www.creeksidebible.com.
Students’ Great Big Weekend: Mark your calendars so you don’t miss Student Ministries’ first in-town retreat – the Great Big Weekend on November 13 – 15! The cost is $25 for the first student and $12 for each additional student. You can sign up (and pay) @ www.creeksidebible.com.
