Creekside Cares: On Saturday, October 7th, our church will serve South Ridge Elementary by beautifying their school. From 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., we will paint, build, mow, clean, and anything else they need to have done! Childcare and lunch will be provided. If you plan to come, please sign up here. When you come on Saturday, wear your Creekside Cares t-shirt, but also bring another shirt to wear when you are painting.
Sunday Services: Pastor Torrey will preach on Philippians 2:5-12 this Sunday, October 8th. Be thinking about a song that has ministered in your life so you are ready for Torrey’s question at the beginning of the message :).
Christmas Choir/Musician Meeting: If you would like to volunteer for worship during the Christmas season, come to a brief meeting on Sunday, October 8th, at 10:15 a.m. in Room #220. Please sign up here if you plan to attend.
Community Groups: Sign up here if you would like to participate in a community group. The Connect (click here) is the lesson the groups will study the week of October 8-14. The Connect is also attached below.
Sunday Apologetics Class: Journey through a 7-week program designed to prepare your faith for subtle attacks from other worldviews. As we discuss how each worldview answers six major questions, we will be able to defend our faith with a solid understanding of what we believe and why we believe it. The class begins Sunday, October 15th, at 9:00 a.m. in Room #700 (south modular).
Desserts Needed: A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver. Dessert donations for Sunday, October 15th, would be much appreciated. Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”.
Welcome Dessert: Sunday, October 15th, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Fellowship with others new to Creekside, meet our pastors, learn more about Creekside, and enjoy delicious desserts. Childcare will be provided. Please sign up here.
Encounter: Sent Friday, October 27th, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Encounter is a time to gather to worship our creator and pray together as a family. This Encounter will focus on praying for the missionaries that Creekside supports, and we will also pray for our outreach to the town of Castle Rock. Childcare will be provided for ages four and under.

Ladies’ Prayer & Fellowship: Saturday, October 7th, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Please join us at Creekside as we lift our prayer requests and praises to the Lord.
Men’s Breakfast: Saturday, October 14th, 8:00—10:00 a.m. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.
Seniors’ Luncheon: Saturday, October 14th, at noon. If you are 60+, come to Creekside the 2nd Saturday of each month for lunch, fellowship and a devotional.
MOPS & MOMSnext will meet on Wednesday, October 18th, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. You can register at creeksidebible.com.
Women’s Prayer Retreat: Saturday, October 21st, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Engfer’s home. This is a time to get away for a day devoted to prayer and fasting as we “Seek the Lord” in beautiful Perry Park. All women 14 and older are welcome; there will be no childcare. Dress comfortably, and bring a Bible, notebook, pen/pencil, and a heart for God. Please RSVP at creeksidebible.com.

Wednesday Nights: The youth will meet on Wednesday, October 11th, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Whole Hearted – A Mother/Daughter Retreat: Mothers and daughters (ages 12-19), join us for a special time of fun, worship, teaching and surprises! The retreat will be at Creekside on Friday, November 3rd, from 5:00–10:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 4th, from 8:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. The cost for the event is only $40 per family. You will provide your own lunch on Saturday for a fun one-on-one family time. Please sign up here as soon as possible.
Volunteers needed: Women of Creekside! We are looking for women of all ages to help prepare for and serve at our mother/daughter in-town retreat on November 3 & 4. We would be so blessed for you to share your gifts and come show your love to our amazing teen girls and their moms!
