Good Day, Creekside Family!
Here are this weekend’s reminders and a few things coming up in the near future.
Ladies’ Mountain Reretreat: For our rescheduled retreat, we will be headed to the mountains May 12-15 to stay at The Pines Lodge in Beaver Creek, CO (which is nicer and slightly less expensive than our first location!) You can choose to stay one, two, or three nights, and the cost includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday breakfast and dinner on Friday and Saturday. All other meals are on your own. We will be staying in three-bedroom luxury condos with full kitchens, and we’ll have access to a pool, hot tub, gym, and hiking. Our speaker, Linda Kocher, will join us to share her story. Sign up online (https://creeksidebible.ccbchurch.com/form_response.php?id=77) no later than May 8th. Payment is also due by the 8th. You can pay online or put a check in the offering box (put ‘Reretreat’ in the memo line). Childcare will be provided for the Men’s Breakfast on May 14th so that moms can attend the reretreat.

The Elders are very thankful to the Worship Leader Search Team for all of their efforts over the past several months. Despite their faithful service, the right candidate has not been revealed to us at this time. Therefore, after much prayer and discussion, we have decided to increase the available hours for this position from 15 per week to 28 per week. The extra hours will primarily be supported through a Student Worship role. We pray this increase will help us find the right person the Lord has chosen to join our church family.
As the end of the fiscal year approaches (June 30th), please be in prayer for all who are working to compile the budget for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. We covet your prayers for wisdom and discernment as we strive to accurately follow the Lord’s leading.
The Lord has blessed Creekside financially during the third quarter of the fiscal year. Praise Him!
