Family Celebration Service:  On Sunday, May 20th, we will celebrate seven baptisms:  Faith Anderson, Gabriel and Lillie Day, McKinley Dirks, Chloe Harbick, Joe Meyer, and Faith Orr.  Parents, if you want a resource to help you discuss baptism with your children, you can take one of the booklets on the foyer table.

New Song:  This Sunday we will sing a new song at CBC, “Jesus Is Better”. You can listen to the song here and join in worshiping with us on Sunday.

Alternatives Pregnancy Center:  If you would like to support APC’s ministry, this Sunday you can take a baby bottle, fill it with change, and bring the bottle back to the church by Father’s Day, June 17th.  More information about Alternatives is available at www.YouhaveALTERNATIVES.org

Community Groups celebrate the end of the semester next week.  Most groups will take a break for the summer and resume meeting in August.  You can sign up to be part of a Community Group here.

Praise Under the Pavilion:  On Sunday, May 27th, we will have only one worship service at 10:45 a.m., and we will meet at the White Pavilion (414 Perry St.) in downtown Castle Rock.  Come at 10:00 a.m. for breakfast burritos, coffee and juice, and remember to bring lawn chairs or a blanket.  We encourage you to invite friends and family to join us at our Memorial Day outdoor service! 

4th Quarter Business Meeting:  We encourage you to attend the business meeting on Sunday, June 3rd, at noon.  The membership will vote to approve the 2018-19 Spending Plan; written ministry reports will be distributed.  Pizza and water bottles will be provided, and childcare will be available up to 6th grade.  The proposed 2018-19 Spending Plan is attached below, and copies are also available on the foyer table.  If you are a member and cannot attend the business meeting, there are absentee ballots in the foyer.  When you have completed your ballot, please give it to one of the Elders.

Welcome Dessert:  Sunday, June 10th, 6:30 p.m. Fellowship with others new to Creekside, meet our pastors, learn more about the church, and enjoy delicious desserts.  Childcare will be provided.  Please sign up here.

Hearing Assistance Devices:  If you have difficulty hearing the music or message during the worship service, you can stop by the sound booth to pick up headphones that will help you enjoy the service. 

Our Daily Bread Devotionals:  The new edition (June–August) is on the Connections counter.

A D U L T   M I N I S T R Y

Women’s Summer Bible Study:  A summer study begins Wednesday, June 13th, at 9:30 a.m.  Join us for Kay Arthur’s six-week study, Living a Life of True Worship.  We will explore solid, biblical principles for making worship a lifestyle of grateful response to our Creator and Redeemer.  There will be no homework, and no childcare will be provided.  The books are $8 each.  Please sign up here by Wednesday, June 6th.

S T U D E N T   M I N I S T R Y

Wednesday Nights:  The youth will not meet on May 23rd

Student Summer Kickoff will be on Wednesday, May 30th.  At 6:30 p.m., we will meet at Festival Park for games and fun.  At 7:45 p.m., everyone will go to the Miller Athletic Complex for bump soccer until 10:00 p.m.  The cost is $20 per person.  Sign up here if you plan to attend.

Summer Sports Camp:  Mark your calendars! Our week-long Bible based sports camp starts June 4.  Come join the fun by volunteering to be an assistant coach, Bible teacher, snack preparer, or verse listener. You can sign up here to volunteer.  Parents, don’t forget to register your children entering grades 1-7 here.

M I S S I O N S   A N D   O U T R E A C H

Desserts Needed:  A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver.  Dessert donations for Sunday, May 20th, would be much appreciated.  Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”.

Rent-a-Servant:  In order to raise funds for this summer’s Mexico Mission Trip (June 22-29), team members are available to do yard work, cleaning, babysitting, cooking, etc.  You can sign up to “hire” someone here.
