Sunday Services: Pastor Torrey’s passage for Sunday, October 7th, will be Daniel 1.
Community Groups: Sign up to be part of a Community Group here. Since the week of October 7th includes Encounter and Creekside Cares, Community Groups will take a break and resume meeting the week of October 14th.
Advent Ensemble: If you are interested in participating in the Advent ensemble, please sign up here by October 11th. The first rehearsal is Monday, October 8th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.
Encounter: Friday, October 12th, 6:30–7:30 p.m. We will gather for a night of worship and prayer as we prepare our hearts to serve our community as a church the following day. Childcare will be provided for children up to the 4th grade.
Creekside Cares: Saturday, October 13th, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Your family is encouraged to be involved in our 2nd Annual Creekside Cares Day when we will go into the community to serve others in real and practical ways. Childcare will be provided through Kindergarten. We are meeting at South Ridge Elementary at 8:00 a.m. Sign up here if you would like to participate. Creekside Cares t-shirts are available for purchase in the foyer.

2nd Quarter Business Meeting: Sunday, November 4th, 12:00 p.m. Oral ministry reports will be given. The Elders have unanimously endorsed Greg Yoder as an Elder Candidate, and they would like to receive feedback from the church family on Greg’s candidacy. You can share your feedback with any of the Elders.

Adult Bible Classes: This fall the 9:00 a.m. class is studying Unlocking the Mysteries of Genesis, and the 10:45 a.m. class is studying the book of Isaiah. Both classes meet in the south modular, Room #700.
MOPS and MOMSnext meet at Creekside twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:30—11:30 a.m., and childcare is provided. Their next meeting will be October 17th, and you can register here.
Men’s Breakfast will not meet in October. The next breakfast will be on Saturday, November 10th, from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Seniors’ Luncheon: Saturday, October 13th, at noon. If you are 60+, come to Creekside the 2nd Saturday of the month for lunch, fellowship and a devotional. All seniors in Castle Rock and surrounding communities are welcome.
Tea and Tie: Ladies, please join us on Thursday, October 18th, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. for a fun and relaxing event with a great cause. At our annual “Tea and Tie”, we will make blankets to benefit Children’s Hospital. Previous experience tying blankets is not required, and childcare will not be provided. Wednesday Nights: On October 10th, the youth will meet at Creekside from 6:30–8:30 p.m. Our Fall Retreat will be November 9–11! More details soon about this in-town weekend program.

Clean Water Climb Mission Report: Sunday, October 7th, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. You are invited to a presentation by John Guthrie and Terry Tedford about their recent adventures in Malawi and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. The trip was in support of the Clean Water Climb and Child Legacy. Snacks will be provided. Please RSVP to John Guthrie (JohnDGuth@aol.com).
Desserts Needed: A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people on the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver. Dessert donations for Sunday, October 21st, would be much appreciated. Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”.
