Sunday Apologetics Class: The class will meet this Sunday, October 22nd, at 9:00 a.m. in Room #700 (south modular). If you are curious about what will be covered, this link has a short video about the information that will be discussed: http://www.secretbattlebook.com/trailer.html. If you plan to attend the class, please take the Worldview Checkup at this link: http://bit.ly/2ywraEh. Advent Worship Ensemble: Beginning on October 19th, our Advent Choir will rehearse each Thursday leading up to Thanksgiving. Rehearsal will start at 6:30 p.m. in Room #220.
Encounter: Sent Friday, October 27th, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Encounter is a time to gather to worship our creator and pray together as a family. This Encounter will focus on praying for the missionaries that Creekside supports, and we will also pray for our outreach to the town of Castle Rock. Childcare will be provided for ages four and under.
2nd Quarter Business Meeting: Sunday, November 5th, 12:00 p.m. Finance and ministry reports will be given, and all are welcome to attend.
Thanksgiving Dinner & Outreach: On Sunday, November 12th, we will gather from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Kirk Hall on the Douglas County Fairgrounds. The church will provide turkey and ham, cranberry sauce, rolls, drinks, and tableware. Families are asked to bring a side dish and a dessert. Please sign up here by November 10th. As we gather to celebrate God’s goodness, we also want to reach out to those in need. We are asking everyone attending the Thanksgiving Dinner to bring homemade cookies or gift cards for the Christmas bags we will give to the homeless served by Open Door Ministries. When you sign up, please let us know what you will bring.
Douglas County School Board Voter’s Guide: Colorado Family Action has prepared a non-partisan guide to inform you on the positions of those running for the Douglas County School Board. The voter guides are available on the Community Group table in the foyer.
Nursery Helpers Needed: Three additional helpers are needed during each service on a once a month rotation. If you can help, contact Susan Combs (firstname.lastname@example.org, 303-660-3401.)
Blessing the Worship Team with Breakfast: Our worship team volunteers faithfully give 8-10 hours of their time each week to prepare to lead our congregation in worship. We hope to form a team of people who are willing to supply breakfast for the worship team each week. A rotation would be established once enough volunteers have committed to this ministry. Food for 15 people would need to be brought to Room #220 by 8:30 a.m. each Sunday. If you would like to help with this, contact Clint (email@example.com) for details.
Our Daily Bread Devotionals: The September–November edition is on the Connections counter.
Church Office: Office hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please call 303-688-3745 if you have any questions or would like to speak to a staff member.
