Sunday Services:  Mark Farnham will be preaching on Sunday, November 11th.  Mark is Professor of Apologetics and Director of the Pre-Seminary Major at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA.  Previously he taught systematic theology and apologetics at the seminary level, and he has also served as a senior pastor.  Mark has been teaching Apologetics in local churches for more than a decade.  His message title is “Every Believer Confident:  Introducing Apologetics”.

Community Groups:  Sign up to be part of a Community Group here.  Each week one of the pastors writes a study, called the Guide, to facilitate a discussion about that Sunday’s message.  This week’s Guide is on Daniel 5, and it is available at Connections.  Torrey will preach on Daniel 5 on Sunday, November 18th. Community Groups will not meet the week of November 18th because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Annual Thanksgiving Dinner:  Sunday, November 11th, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Join us as we thank God for His blessings and honor our veterans.  We will meet at Kirk Hall on the Douglas County Fairgrounds.  The church will provide turkey, ham, drinks, and tableware.  Families are asked to bring both a side dish and a dessert; singles and couples can bring just a side dish.  Please sign up here to let us know how many are coming and what you will bring.

Child Dedications:  On Sunday, December 2nd, parents will have the opportunity to dedicate their children to the Lord during both worship services.  If you want to dedicate your child or children, please sign up here by November 29th, and we will schedule a time for you to meet with Pastor Torrey.

2nd Quarter Business Meeting:  The minutes and ministry reports are attached below for those who missed last Sunday’s business meeting.

Nursery Volunteers Needed:  Are you looking for a place to serve?  Please consider becoming a regular teacher in the Preschool room of the nursery.  Serve twice a month and teach these inquisitive little hearts about Jesus.  They are eager to learn and will bring a smile to your face.  I need two helpers during the 1st service and one during the 2nd service beginning in January.  If you can help, contact Karyn Hoffman at  Thank you!

New Our Daily Bread Devotionals:  The December–February edition is available at Connections.

Church Office:  Office hours are Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Call 303-688-3745 if you have questions or want to speak to a staff member.

Missionary Love Offering:  During the month of November, we collect a love offering so we can bless our missionaries with a special gift during the Christmas season.  Creekside supports 17 missionaries (singles, couples, and families).  In 2017, the love offering was over $2,600.  Because we are supporting additional missionaries in 2018, we are praying the love offering will be at least $3,000.  If you would like to participate, you can put a check or cash in the offering box (write ‘missionary love offering’ in the memo line or on the cash offering envelope).  You can also give at

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes:  For the past 25 years, Samaritan’s Purse has been collecting shoeboxes filled with gifts and delivering them to children in need around the world.  Each box is an opportunity for a boy or girl to experience the love of God in a tangible way and hear the Gospel.  Pick up a shoebox at church and read the envelope inside to learn how to pack it and what items cannot be included.  After filling your shoebox, please return it to the church by Sunday, November 18th.

Desserts Needed:  A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people on the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver.  Dessert donations for Sunday, November 18th, are much appreciated.  Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”.  If you want to help serve the meal, email
