This Sunday:  Pastor Torrey will be preaching on Sunday, July 8th.  You can read Psalm 51 in preparation for his message.  The theme of Torrey’s message is “Songs of Repentance”.

Benevolence Fund:  When someone in the church family or community has a financial need, the deacons can help because of your gifts to our Benevolence Fund.  Today, the deacons will be in the foyer after the worship service to accept contributions.  Please prayerfully consider what you can give to support those in need.

Community Groups take a break for the summer, and they resume meeting in August.  You can sign up to be part of a Community Group here.

Admin Volunteers Needed: If you are detail oriented, organizationally gifted, tech savvy, or just eager to help and ready to learn, the church office needs help processing paperwork, scanning files, and various other tasks. This role is behind-the-scenes, but it is a vital part of enabling ministries to function well. Contact Sierra ( if you are interested.

Volunteers Needed:  Are you looking for a place to serve and be intentional about showing the love of Jesus?  Come serve in the Nursery and snuggle some sweet babies or teach toddlers or preschoolers about God’s Big Love for them!  Contact if you can help during either service.

Our Daily Bread Devotionals:  The new edition (June–August) is on the Connections counter.  Large-print editions (July–September) are also available.

Men’s Breakfast: Saturday, July 14th, 8:00—10:00 a.m. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with brothers in Christ.

Christmas in July: On Tuesday, July 17th, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., ladies will gather to craft unique yarn center pieces, decorate sugar cookies with royal icing, and jot down ideas for our Christmas Event in December.  Kids are most welcome. Please give Erin a head count for the kids so she knows if she needs to set up the bounce house in the backyard and hire a sitter! Otherwise, no need to RSVP, just stop by whenever you can. For more information contact

S T U D E N T   M I N I S T R Y

Wednesday Nights:  This summer the youth are meeting at various locations in Castle Rock from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights.  You can check the church calendar at or contact Pastor Larry ( for the location of each week’s meeting.

Do Hard Things Book Study:   This summer, the youth are meeting to discuss the book, Do Hard Things, about owning God’s mission, even at a young age.  The next meeting is on Wednesday, July 11th, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Cookies and Crema. The books are $8 each.  Contact Pastor Larry ( if you are interested in participating.

End-of-Summer Campout:  Students, mark your calendars for a camping trip you will never forget!  On July 20 & 21 we will be camping out under the stars in the Genesis Project located just east of the church.  We will be having worship, screening a movie, and playing games.  Sign up ASAP here.

M I S S I O N S   A N D   O U T R E A C H

Desserts Needed:  A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver.  Dessert donations for Sunday, July 15th, would be much appreciated.  Please put the dessert in the church kitchen and label it “Open Door”.
