Sunday, May 3rd: Pastor Torrey begins a series on the book of

Nehemiah this Sunday. The passage is Nehemiah 1:1–4. Please join us in worshiping together!  You can also find the service on the Watch Now tab and on Facebook, starting around 9 AM on Sunday mornings. After watching the service Sunday morning, would you like to discuss the sermon, pray for others, and enjoy fellowship? If so, click here to join one of our Zoom Home Churches during this season! If you need help with the technology, just call the church office (303-688-3745). One of the admin staff would be happy to help!

Giving: Last Sunday, Pastor Torrey mentioned that we have made a few changes regarding Giving at Creekside.  Here’s more information:

  • “Text to Give” – text "Creekside Bible" to 77977 and follow the instructions to set up an easy way to give from your cell phone.  You’ll have the option to set up a recurring gift as well as help your gift make a bigger impact by offering to pay the processing fees.
  • Go to the Give tab, click the “Give Online” button and then follow the instructions.  Again, you’ll have the option to set up a recurring gift as well as help your gift make a bigger impact by offering to pay the processing fees.

We want to encourage you to try out the new Pushpay platform by using the text option or the website ~ let us know if you have any trouble navigating it or have questions.  As always, you can mail a paper check to the church ~ our mailbox is locked and gets checked daily.  Thank you for partnering with Creekside Bible Church to share the Good News of Jesus all over the world through 28 missionaries and serving our community right here in Castle Rock!

First Wednesday:  Join us on May 6th at 7:30 p.m. on Facebook Live as we worship and pray together!  We look forward to praising the Lord for who He is and thanking Him for His provision.  We will also look to God in confession and bring our needs before His throne.

FYI - You DO NOT need to have a Facebook account to view the Daily Launch videos, First Wednesday services, or any other ministry or worship service posted on Creekside’s Facebook page. Go to Creekside’s Facebook page by following this link:

Central Bible Church Core Team meetings will begin soon!  If you would like to discuss being on the Core Team, please complete the form on the Events tab by Wednesday, May 6th.  One of the pastors will contact you to set up a meeting.

Seniors’ Luncheon:  There will be no Seniors’ Luncheon on May 9th because of the restrictions still in place regarding large-group gatherings.  We hope to resume the luncheons on September 12th after our normal summer break.

New Normal – Thriving Despite COVID-19:  Have you checked out all the ways you can connect with others and grow closer to God through the resources on the New Normal page on our website?  Learn about these resources, such as how to connect with others through “home churches” (Zoom Home Church).  You can also study the book of James through the pastors’ 9:00 a.m. daily devotionals on Facebook (Daily Launch).   Each Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. round up the kids and learn spiritual lessons through the hilarious Family Night with Creekside videos. Students are also “meeting” through video chat for lessons and small group discussions on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.  You can also let us know if you have a need for help or would like to assist others by completing the No One in Need forms.  If you have any questions or need technical assistance, email or call the admin staff at 303-688-3745.

Help and Hope Center (formerly called the Task Force) continues to need volunteers to fill the vacancies due to the coronavirus.  Click here to volunteer if you could help in the food bank over the next few weeks.  If you have any questions, contact Marion, Volunteer Coordinator (

Keeping Your Kids Engaged:  Parents, check out this great resource for Sunday mornings: Sermon Notes from Home.  We encourage you to use this resource on Sundays when you and your family are watching the prerecorded service.  Let us know if it helps keep your kids engaged during the message!

Summer Sports Camp Ministry Opportunity:  Because of the coronavirus pandemic, Sports Camp will be postponed until later in the summer (dates are still TBD).  Sports Camp is an outreach to the children of Castle Rock. We need coaches for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, dance, games, pickleball, and volleyball (or any other sport you would be interested in coaching :).  Please prayerfully consider joining us as we build bridges in our community and teach God’s Word in a fun and meaningful way.  Sign up to coach by going to the Events tab.  For more information, email Adam at
