National Day of Prayer:  The first Thursday in May has been designated as the National Day of Prayer. Typically, Castle Rock Christians gather on this day at the Administration Building at noon to pray for our nation and its leaders. You can participate in praying for our country by clicking here to be part of a prerecorded National Day of Prayer ceremony at the Admin Building.

SUNDAYS MOVING TO LIVE STREAM AT 9:00 A.M.:  Beginning this Sunday, May 10th, we will be moving Sunday services to Facebook Live.  You do not need Facebook to view the service. We will send out a link at 8:45 a.m. that will take you directly to the live stream.  If you cannot view the service at 9:00 a.m., you can watch the recorded version around 10:00 a.m.  Click here for an update from Pastor Torrey.

“PRAISE IN THE PARKING LOT" – DRIVE-IN SERVICES ON MAY 24TH AT 9:00 & 10:45 A.M.:  Come enjoy an outdoor worship service live and in person FROM YOUR CAR! We are bringing in a company that will help us broadcast the service using FM transmission.  More details to follow.  Please set this Sunday aside to be a part of gathering as a community once again!

Help and Hope Center (formerly called the Task Force) needs donations of food, paper goods, personal care, and laundry items for their Food Bank. Donations can be dropped off Monday – Friday between 8 am and 12:30 pm in the back of the Food Bank, 1638 Park Street, Castle Rock 80109. Also, please click here to volunteer if you could help in the food bank over the next few weeks.  If you have any questions, contact Marion, Volunteer Coordinator (

A few notes about our new Giving processor:  Creekside has moved to a new online processor for giving (Pushpay).  It is very secure & user friendly!

  • “Text to Give” – text "Creekside Bible" to 77977 and follow the instructions to set up an easy way to give from your cell phone.  You’ll have the option to set up a recurring gift as well as help your gift make a bigger impact by offering to pay the processing fees.
  • Go to the Give tab, click the “Give Online” button and then follow the instructions.  Again, you’ll have the option to set up a recurring gift as well as help your gift make a bigger impact by offering to pay the processing fees.

We want to encourage you to try out the new Pushpay platform by using the text option or the website ~ let us know if you have any trouble navigating it or have questions.  As always, you can mail a paper check to the church ~ our mailbox is locked and gets checked daily.

Seniors’ Luncheon:  There will be no Seniors’ Luncheon on May 9th because of the restrictions still in place regarding large-group gatherings.  We hope to resume the luncheons on September 12th after our normal summer break.

New Normal – A Reminder:  Be sure to check out all the ways you can connect with others and grow closer to God through the resources on the New Normal page on our website?  Learn about these resources, such as how to connect with others through “home churches” (Zoom Home Church).  You can also study the book of James through the pastors’ 9:00 a.m. daily devotionals on Facebook (Daily Launch).   Each Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. round up the kids and learn spiritual lessons through the hilarious Family Night with Creekside videos. Students are also “meeting” through video chat for lessons and small group discussions on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.  You can also let us know if you have a need for help or would like to assist others by completing the No One in Need forms.  If you have any questions or need technical assistance, email or call the admin staff at 303-688-3745.

Keeping Your Kids Engaged:  Parents, check out this great resource for Sunday mornings: Sermon Notes from Home.  We encourage you to use this resource on Sundays when you and your family are watching the prerecorded service.  Let us know if it helps keep your kids engaged during the message!

Sports Camp Update:  As you are aware, COVID-19 has disrupted most of our normal programming.  Unfortunately, Sports Camp is no exception.  It is not possible to hold Sports Camp in June as originally planned.  We have made the decision to postpone it until a later date.  We are currently hoping to hold Sports Camp this fall, and more information will be relayed as we formulate a new plan.  We still encourage you to volunteer to help with this event as it is a huge outreach opportunity.  We need coaches for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, dance, games, and volleyball.  Sign up to coach by going to the Events tab.  For more information, email Adam at
