Sunday, October 11th:  Torrey will preach this Sunday on John 11:1-53.  The message title is “I AM...the Resurrection”.   Nursery care is available at both services.  Creek Kids’ classes for K-6th grade meet during the second service only.

Please sign up here to let us know which service you will attend or if you will watch online.  It is especially important that you sign up if your children will be in the nursery or attending Creek Kids’ classes since class size is limited by COVID restrictions.

Creekside Workday:  The deacons will have a workday from 8:00 a.m. until noon this Saturday, October 10th.  Click here to see how you can help.  Projects include painting the student classroom (north modular), power washing the church, and installing a light post and a mailbox post. 

Wednesday Nights:  Youth group will meet on October 14th from 6:30–8:30 p.m.  On Friday, October 16th, there will be a game night in the Box at 7:00 p.m.  Bring friends and enjoy some old-school video games, board games, and card games.    If you have any questions, contact Drake (

Community Groups: It is not too late to join a group!  We encourage you to find a place to belong, grow, and serve/go by signing up here to participate in a Community Group! 

Community Group Fall Curriculum:  Our Community Groups are studying Jesus’ "I AM" statements for the next two months.  If you would like to purchase a copy online (I AM: Discovering Who Jesus Is; Lifeguide Bible Studies) and have it shipped to your home, click here.

Register to Vote!  Colorado offers online voter registration.  You can register online to vote until Monday, October 26, 2020. You will need a Colorado driver's license or ID card to use the online voter registration system.  If you miss this deadline, you will not receive a ballot by mail, but you can still vote in person at a voter service and polling center.

King Sooper’s Community Rewards Program:   If you register your loyalty card online and put in a special code, 5% of your purchases will be given back to Creekside!  We hope to use these funds to install a new playground next spring.  See the picture to the right for step-by-step instructions and help us reach this goal just by purchasing your groceries each week!

Help & Hope Center is kicking off their 2nd Annual Keep the Heat On! Fundraiser this month.  Because of COVID, the center has been seeing much higher utility amounts being requested by families in need.  If you would like to help our Douglas and Elbert county neighbors have the assistance they need this winter, you can give online here.  Be sure to designate that you are giving to the Keep the Heat On! Campaign.

Our Daily Bread Devotionals:  The September–November edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals, and the large-print edition for October–December are available on the Connections counter.  If you are not able to come to the church to pick up a copy, please call the church (303-688-3745) or send Kathy an email ( so she can mail one to you.

COVID-19 Precautions:  When attending a worship service, please continue to wear a mask as you enter and leave the building and as you move about inside the building.  Once you are seated in the worship center, you may remove the mask.  If you would like to fellowship after the service, the Elders request that you do so outside and not in the worship center or foyer.  It is also recommended that you observe social distancing by remaining six feet apart.
