Sunday, November 8th:  Pastor Torrey will preach this Sunday on Lamentations 3:17-26.  The message title is “In My Sorrow, I’ll Give Thanks”.  Nursery care is available at both the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. services.  Creek Kids’ classes for K-6th grade will meet during the first service only.

A Proper Focus:  In light of the uncertainty regarding the election results and COVID, we encourage you to read this reminder of who we are to be and how we are to respond.

Missionary Christmas Love Offering:  During the month of November, we collect a love offering so we can bless our missionaries with a special gift at Christmas.  Creekside supports many missionaries (singles, couples, and families). If you would like to participate in the love offering, you can give through the Creekside app or by going here and choosing the fund “missionary love offering”.  You can also put a check or cash in the offering box (write ‘missionary love offering’ in the memo line or on the offering envelope).  The deadline to give is November 29th.

Operation Christmas Child:  The coronavirus pandemic has left children around the world hurting and scared.  You can help them experience God’s love by packing shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child.  Samaritan’s Purse will send the shoeboxes overseas in the Name of Jesus where they will be handed out to millions of children through SP’s global church network.  You can pick up a shoebox in the foyer and fill it with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, or you can Build a Shoebox Online (click here for more information).  Please return your filled shoeboxes to Creekside by Sunday, November 22nd.

Wednesday Nights:  Enter at your own risk – the teens are having a Nerf War at the church on November 11th at 6:30 p.m.!  Bring guns, blasters and plenty of darts! If you have any questions, contact Drake (

Community Groups:  We encourage you to find a place to belong, grow, and serve/go by signing up here to participate in a Community Group.

Prayer Requests:  If you would like to ask for prayer, you can email Kathy ( or call the church office at 303-688-3745.  Be sure to mention if you would like the prayer request published in the Current, sent to the Prayer Team, or emailed to the staff and elders.  You can also email Kathy if you would like to be added to the Prayer Team.

Lost and Found items.  If you have been missing something, we encourage you to check the Lost & Found bin by November 29th when all unclaimed items will be donated to charity.  There are a few “lost” Bibles on the shelf above the bin as well.

COVID-19 Precautions:  When attending a worship service, please continue to wear a mask as you enter and leave the building and as you move about inside the building.  Once you are seated in the worship center, you may remove the mask.  If you would like to fellowship after the service, the Elders request that you do so outside and not in the worship center or foyer.  It is also recommended that you observe social distancing by remaining six feet apart.

No One in Need:  If you have ANY need due to the COVID situation, please email or call the admin staff at 303-688-3745.
