Sunday, November 29th:   This Sunday  Adam  will  preach  on  1 Thessalonians 5:12–18.   The title is "6 Simple Words, 3 Powerful Commands".

Service Times:  Because of new COVID guidelines regarding capacity, we now have three worship services:  9:00–9:50 a.m., 10:15–11:05 a.m., and 11:30 a.m.–12:20 p.m.  Nursery care will be available at the 9:00 and 10:15 a.m. services.  Creek Kids’ classes for K-6th grade will meet during the first service only.   No childcare will be provided during the 11:30 a.m. service.

Advent Candle Lighting:  This Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent, and the Scripture reading is Isaiah 9:6-7.

Advent Devotionals:  John Piper has written an Advent devotional booklet, “Joy to the World”, and we are making a copy available for everyone in the church (one per family).  You can get your devotional this Sunday as you leave the service. 

Missionary Christmas Love Offering:  Thank you to all who have given so we can bless our missionaries with a special gift this Christmas!  Creekside supports several missionaries (singles, couples, and families). If you would like to participate in the love offering, you can give through the Creekside app or by going here and choosing the fund “missionary love offering”.  You can also put a check or cash in the offering box (write ‘missionary love offering’ in the memo line or on the offering envelope).  The deadline for donations is this Sunday, November 29th.   

Open Door Gift Cards:  If you would like to bless the homeless served by Open Door Ministries in downtown Denver, please bring a $10–15 gift card to Subway, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, or Burger King to the church by Sunday, December 13th.  If you cannot bring the gift card to the church on a Sunday, you can mail the card to the church.  The gift cards will be added to the homemade cookies and candy in Christmas bags given to the homeless on December 19th.  

Operation Christmas Child:  Thank you to all those who filled OCC shoeboxes this year!  We delivered 125 shoeboxes to the Collection Center last Sunday!  Remember to pray for the children who will receive shoeboxes.  When the boxes are handed out, the gospel is shared and the children are invited to participate in a discipleship class, “The Greatest Journey”.   Through these classes, the Lord has brought more than 11 million children to saving faith in Jesus Christ! 

Wednesday Nights:   The youth will not meet this evening because of the Thanksgiving holiday.  Youth Group will also not meet on December 2nd so that our teens can come to the 1st Wednesday prayer and worship gathering at 6:30 p.m. If you have any questions, contact Drake (

1st Wednesday:   Our next 1st Wednesday worship and prayer gathering will be at the church on December 2nd at 6:30 p.m.   If you plan to bring kids (6th grade and under), please fill out THIS FORM by November 30th so we can plan childcare for that evening.  No meal will be served.  If you cannot attend in person, you will be able to participate in 1st Wednesday on YouTube Live. 

Community Groups:  We encourage you to find a place to belong, grow, and serve/go by signing up here to participate in a Community Group.  The groups will not be meeting next week because of the 1st Wednesday service.

NEW Our Daily Bread Devotionals:  The December 2020–February 2021 edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals, and the large-print edition for October–December are available on the Connections counter. 

Lost and Found items.  If you have been missing something, we encourage you to check the Lost & Found bin by November 29th when all unclaimed items will be donated to charity.  There are a few “lost” Bibles on the shelf above the bin as well.

COVID-19 Precautions:  When attending a worship service, please continue to wear a mask as you enter and leave the building and as you move about inside the building.  Once you are seated in the worship center, you may remove the mask.  If you would like to fellowship after the service, the Elders request that you do so outside and not in the worship center or foyer.  It is also recommended that you observe social distancing by remaining six feet apart.
