Sunday, December 6th:   This Sunday Pastor Torrey begins the Christmas series, “The Advent: Unfiltered”.  The passage is Matthew 1:1-17, and the message title is “Oh ‘Christ’mas Tree, How Lovely Are Your Branches”. 

Service Times:  Because of new COVID guidelines regarding capacity, we now have three worship services:  9:00–9:50 a.m., 10:15–11:05 a.m., and 11:30 a.m.–12:20 p.m.  Nursery care will be available at the 9:00 and 10:15 a.m. services.  Creek Kids’ classes for K-6th grade will meet during the first service only.   No childcare will be provided during the 11:30 a.m. service.

Benevolence Offering:  Because of your generosity and compassion, the deacons have been able to help many in our church family and community who are out of work, experiencing illness, or in financial need for a different reason.  If God lays it on your heart to make an “above and beyond” offering to assist those in need, please put your gift in the white collection box in the lobby as you leave this Sunday. 

Advent Candle Lighting:  December 6th is the second Sunday of Advent, and the theme is peace.  The Scripture reading is Ephesians 2:14- 18.

Open Door Gift Cards:  If you would like to bless the homeless served by Open Door Ministries in downtown Denver, please bring a $10–15 gift card to Subway, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, or Burger King to the church by Sunday, December 13th.  If you cannot bring the gift card to the church on a Sunday, you can mail the card to the church.  The gift cards will be added to the homemade cookies and candy in Christmas bags given to the homeless on December 19th.

Community Groups:  We encourage you to find a place to belong, grow, and serve/go by signing up here to participate in a Community Group.

New Songs from 2020:  We have created a playlist for you to be able to sing along with the new songs we have done in 2020. Our goal will be to update this with new songs periodically. Tune in and worship with us in your homes, on the bike, or in the car!  




NEW Our Daily Bread Devotionals:  The December 2020–February 2021 edition of the Our Daily Bread devotionals, and the large-print edition for October–December are available on the Connections counter. 

COVID-19 Precautions:  When attending a worship service, please continue to wear a mask as you enter and leave the building and as you move about inside the building.  Once you are seated in the worship center, you may remove the mask.  If you would like to fellowship after the service, the Elders request that you do so outside and not in the worship center or foyer.  It is also recommended that you observe social distancing by remaining six feet apart.
