Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 8th.  Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour when you go to bed Saturday night!


Sunday, March 8th:  Pastor Torrey will be preaching on Ephesians 6:10–20.  The title of the message is “Geared for Battle”.


Central Bible Church Informational Meetings:  We encourage everyone to come to one of the informational meetings on Central Bible Church, the church plant that will launch this fall at South Ridge Elementary School.  The meetings will be on Sunday, March 8th, and Sunday, March 22nd, from 12:15–1:15 p.m. in the worship center.  Lunch and childcare will be provided.  Please go to the EVENTS page to sign up.

Eggscellent Adventure is an Easter outreach event from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 11th, on the campus of South Ridge Elementary School.  We need volunteers to assist with games, face painting, balloon animals, jump houses, first aid, greeting, set and clean up.  Please go to the EVENTS page to sign up to help with this fun event.


Summer Sports Camp Ministry Opportunity:  June 1–5, 10:00 a.m. to noon at Centennial Park.  Sports Camp is an outreach to the children of Castle Rock.  We need coaches for baseball, basketball, football, soccer, dance, games, pickleball, and volleyball (or any other sport you would be interested in coaching :).  Please prayerfully consider joining us as we build bridges in our community and teach God’s Word in a fun and meaningful way.  Go to the EVENTS page to sign up to help.  For more information, email Adam at


Frontage Road Update:  The east side frontage road will continue to be closed south of the church for the next few weeks as crews complete drainage work for the I-25 Gap Project.  People coming to the church from the north will experience no effect, but those coming from the south need to take I-25 to Plum Creek Parkway and come south on the east frontage road to reach the church.

A D U L T   M I N I S T R Y

Young Adult Group:  If you are 18–29, join us on Sundays from 6:30–8:30 p.m.!  On March 8th, the young adults will meet to continue their Bible study on 1, 2, and 3 John.  Please call the church for more information.


Men’s Study:  The Men’s Study on Tuesday mornings meets from 6:00–7:00 a.m. at the B & B Cafe. The guys are studying “Biblical Leadership” as discussed in I and II Timothy and Titus.  Go to the EVENTS page to sign up.  Contact Pastor Clint ( for more info.


Mornings for Moms is for all mothers with kids at home.  They meet at Creekside twice a month on Thursday mornings from 9:30–11:00 a.m., and childcare is provided.  Their next meeting will be on March 12th.  Mornings for Moms is free, but a $20 yearly donation is suggested to help cover costs for childcare, activities, and brunch items.  Contact Megan ( with questions and go to the EVENTS page to sign up.


Seniors’ Luncheon:  Saturday, March 14th, at noon.  If you are 60+, come to Creekside the 2nd Saturday of the month for lunch, fellowship and a devotional.  All seniors in Castle Rock and the surrounding communities are welcome.


10:45 a.m. Adult Bible Study:  Join us for an occasional Sunday or as often as you can as we study God's Word with an open discussion (q & a) and a time of prayer.  Studies can include a book of the Bible, a person, or general topics and how they relate to our lives.  Come to fully engage or be as quiet as a church mouse.  All are welcome ages 13 to 113. The class meets in Room #700 in the south modular.

Student Spring Retreat – I Surrender:  Join us at Quaker Ridge Conference Center from March 13–16 as we dive into God’s Word and discuss what it means to truly surrender our lives to Him.  The cost is $100 per person.  Sign up by March 11th.  Contact Drake ( with questions.


M I S S I O N S   A N D   O U T R E A C H

Desserts Needed:  A team from Creekside serves a meal to low-income and homeless people on the third Sunday of every month at Open Door Fellowship in Denver.  Dessert donations for Sunday, March 15th, would be appreciated.  Please put the dessert in the kitchen and label it “Open Door”. 


Overtime:  Overtime is an after-school ministry at South Ridge Elementary on Thursdays from 4:00–5:30 p.m., and more volunteers are always welcome.  If God is laying this on your heart, please email Harmony, Overtime Director, at
